At this meeting of the Systems Approaches for Health Innovation Collaborative (SAHIC), meeting participants will:

1. Review framework and content of SAHIC discussion paper on systems approaches.
2. Identify and discuss systems-focused field-building initiatives.
3. Update on SAHIC project on incorporating engineering principles in clinical education and training.
4. Identify opportunities and practical projects for advancing systems-based approaches to achieve the best care at lower cost.
