The Committee on Ethical and Social Policy Considerations of Novel Techniques for Prevention of Maternal Transmission of Mitochondrial DNA Diseases will hold a public discussion about its report “Mitochondrial Replacement Techniques: Ethical, Social, and Policy Considerations” on Monday, March 21, from 1:30 PM ET to 3:00 PM ET in the Lecture Room of the National Academy of Sciences Building, located at 2101 Constitution Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20418. The event will be open to the public and will also be webcast if you would like to attend remotely. If you wish to attend the public release, either in person or via webcast, please register at this link above.
