Priorities on the Health Horizon: Informing PCORI’s Strategic Plan
Meeting Two
When: April 27, 2021 – 11:00 am – 2:00 pm ET
Where: Webinar
This multi-stakeholder meeting of the Priorities on the Health Horizon initiative will build on the insights gained from a prior convening in March 2021, exploring the infrastructure, engagement, and technology prerequisites for patient-centered learning health systems, and the possibilities for building cross-sector collaboration that drives patient-centered, high-value health care. The compelling aim of these meetings is to contribute to PCORI’s efforts in developing its national priorities for health and its revised strategic plan.
The meeting will be anchored by two compelling, forward-looking questions:
- What will it take to create a patient-centered learning health system (with respect to infrastructure, technologies, and engagement)?
- How can PCORI use its research strategies, unique role, and activities to improve patient experience, outcomes, and value in health and health care?
Underpinning these questions is imperative to center PCORI’s work on improving health equity.
