On September 24, 2018, the committee on Integrating Social Needs Care into the Delivery of Health Care to Improve the Nation’s Health will host a workshop in the E Street Conference Room at the Keck Center of the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine. The workshop will be jointly hosted by the Health and Medicine Division’s Board on Health Care Services and the National Academy of Medicine’s Culture of Health program. The committee will examine the potential for integrating services addressing social needs and the social determinants of health into the delivery of health care to achieve better health outcomes and to address major challenges facing the U.S. health care system.
