The National Academy of Medicine (NAM) Action Collaborative on Countering the U.S. Opioid Epidemic gathered experts who helped develop the Chronic Pain Journey Map for an implementation-focused discussion using insights from the map to improve the pain management process on May 16, 2022, from 3:30 to 5:00 pm ET.
The conversation highlighted implementable opportunities for individuals living with pain, clinicians, health systems, payers, and community organizations to develop essential tools, resources, and/or initiatives to transform chronic pain care as we know it. Participants will learn more about how patients and clinicians can build strong partnerships, advance effective pain management plans, & increase the quality of life for people with chronic pain.
