The National Academy of Medicine will convene the first meeting of the International Commission for the Global Roadmap for Healthy Longevity on September 18-19 in Washington, DC. The Commission consists of 17 pre-eminent individuals from across the globe coming from both the public and private sectors with diverse perspectives and expertise in business, healthcare, geriatrics, demography, built environments, social determinants of health, policy, and technology.
During this primarily closed meeting, Commissioners will discuss the vision and strategic approach of the Global Roadmap for Healthy Longevity. The meeting will also consist of an open session, which will provide an opportunity for the Commission to gather input from speakers from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, World Bank, United Nations, and World Health Organization.
