At this meeting of the Evidence Communication Innovation Collaborative (ECIC), participants will consider these goals:

1. Evidence generation: Review progress and next steps related to patients’ attitudes, roles, and opportunities in advancing the use of clinical data for new knowledge.
2. Shared decision making: Identify strategic priorities related to the effectiveness and utilization of shared decision making.
3. ECIC action: Identify possible collaborative activities for ECIC participants to facilitate progress.
