At this meeting of the Best Practices Innovation Collaborative (BPIC), participants will:

1. Review progress and next steps to advance BPIC’s collaborative work on the patient’s role on the health care team.
2. Recognize opportunities for funders to catalyze change in the engagement of patients, family caregivers, and communities.
3. Identify facilitators and barriers to optimizing the contribution of existing and evolving care team members.
4. Define next steps and future opportunities for BPIC participants.
