The NAM Clinician Well-Being Collaborative is working urgently to develop a National Plan for health workforce well-being. The draft plan was released on May 20, 2022, for public input. On the day of the draft plan’s release, this event kicked off an open comment period through May 27. The public input opportunity is now closed. Thank you for providing input to be taken into consideration for the final plan.

We value insights from all role types, institutions, and perspectives as we continue to develop this important work. The National Plan will provide guidance and next steps to work with leaders of health care organizations and educational institutions for health professional, policymakers, health IT companies, payers, regulators, associations, and others involved to cultivate a health system to support our care providers and optimize their well-being. With your input, we look forward to producing a National Plan for collective action to achieve health workforce well-being at this critical juncture for the U.S. health system.
