At this meeting of the Evidence Communication Innovation Collaborative (ECIC), participants will:

1. Review tools, strategies, and priorities in the roles of clinicians, patients, and families in shared decision making for advanced illness and end-of-life circumstances;
2. Review progress and next steps related to stakeholder roles in transforming shared decision making into a routine element of patient care;
3. Identify possible collaborative activities for ECIC participants to facilitate progress.
